Partnership with BITS Pilani

In 2007, Angiras Foundation established a partnership with the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani — a university focused on engineering, sciences, pharmacy, and management. Recognizing that many accepted applicants lacked the financial resources for tuition, books, fees, and living expenses, the Foundation launched a renewable scholarship program.

Beginning with the 2007 school year, Angiras Foundation provided scholarships to eight incoming students. The stated goal at that time was to extend support to 32 students over the following three years.
